GASTROINTESTINAL PROBLEMS

Possible factors – gastrointestinal problems

Low pancreatic production of enzymes, parasites, overgrowth of yeast or Candida in the gut, and imbalances in gut bacteria can often cause digestive problems. Food sensitivities are sometimes the cause of gastrointestinal upset. Food sensitivities can occur over time after the gastrointestinal tract begins to break down (becomes “leaky”) and poorly digested food particles enter the lumen of the intestine.

Heartburn and indigestion can also be caused by low pancreatic production of enzymes, parasites, an overgrowth of yeast or Candida in the gut, and gut bacterial imbalances.
